Review: Dr. Wily has stolen six of Dr. Light's robots and the world is in trouble. Dr.
Light decides to turn Rock, an ordinary lab gopher(no not an animal, just a kind of
chore...doing...robot dude), into MegaMan. He gives MegaMan the powers of abosorbing a
defeated robot's weapon energy and using it for himself. This was the first of what became
a heck-of-alot of games. At the time it was far above any Nintendo game and used
programming skills that had not been used yet in these type of games. The play control is
solid and will keep you glued to your controller. The only thing that rates this one down
is that is has no password feature and the game is over before you know it. It is pretty
hard though, and that adds to the replay value of the game. Check out the box cover! Is
that MegaMan? Well...yea! He was into baggy clothes and being tall...I guess. He was
supposed to look like an anime character in Japan, but when he came here, they
thought,"Americans, no like good anime. We give them allusion of silly man in a sweat
suit. Ha Ha Ha!" Maybe not.

Review: All sequels should be this good! After the defeat of Dr. Wily and the reprogrammed
robots, Wily has a new plan. Using the plans from the six robots, wily improved the
designs and made eight of his own robots to destroy MegaMan once and for all. Will MegaMan
save the world? Will Dr. Wily win? Did MegaMan have time for a nap in between games? This
game was very very well made! Twice as good as the first one. With this game, the
password, the difficulty setting, and the appearence of Wily Skull Castle fortress all
made there appearence. Super fun game, but Capcom used the same graphics for MegaMan as in
the first game. Still good though. Guess you can't mess with perfection.

Review: Dr. Wily was defeated again and has made, you guessed it, eight more super robots!
Oh boy! This was probably the first really long game of the series. It also introduced two
new characters: Rush, the robo dog, and BreakMan(who we later find out is ProtoMan). This
has all of the features of the second game except for the difficulty selector. As an added
feature, you can now slide. No waking for you! Now you get to wear out the bottom of you
suit on the ground. His mother would be very disappointed. Even the eight MegaMan 2 robots
make cameos toward the end. This one took some very hard work. It is very hard though if
you are not used to the MegaMan gameplay by now.

Review: MegaMan shattered Dr. Wily's plans three times and world peace has been maintained
so far...but history repeats itself. Dr. Cossack, a mysterious scientist, has invented
eight powerful robots and sent them after MegaMan. MegaMan starts for the battle again.
This time equipped with the powerful new Mega Buster that allows MegaMan to charge and
release a powerful blast of energy. Can MegaMan defeat the new eight robots and stop the
evil Dr. Cossack? Or is Cossack even the real evil behind all of this? This game is a
great game! Not only did it introduce a new main villan, but it has given a new weapon.
This game also has an unfolding plot as you battle though to the end. A very nicely done
game. Even has a cool intro sequence.

Review: In the year 20XX AD, a vicious army of robots is bent on destroying the world! Dr.
Light has been kidnapped. And behind this destruction is...ProtoMan!? This game is not
much different than MegaMan 4. Not many new features have been added to this one. Only
updated graphics and, of course, eight new robots. This game is fun, but it appears only
exist to expand the story line of MegaMan. The unfolding plot in this game is surprising
at the end as it was in MegaMan 4. Worth getting if the MegaMan story intriques you, but
if you already have MegaMan 4, the only thing you are missing is eight new robots. Still
fun. I would suggest playing this one yourself because it was kinda hard to make a
decision about this game.

Critique:****1/2 Review: In the year 20XX AD, the 1st annual robot tournament was held.
Eight of the world's most powerful robots are competeing for the title of the most
powerful robot in the world. MegaMan, even though encouraged by many, declines the
invitation to participate. Before the tournament could start, the mysterious sponsor, Mr.
X, took control of the robots. The robots then began to take over the world without regard
to human life. MegaMan confronts Mr. X and Mr. X reviels that he has been controling Dr.
Wily from the very beginning. Now Mr. X nolonger needs Wily's help. Now MegaMan must fight
to save the world again. This game was where the series picked back up for the last time
on the NES. When this game was made, it had some fierce competition from the Super NES
with MegaMan X that came out the same year. This game held it's own very well. This game
actually added a new feature. Instead of Rush just turning into a utility that MegaMan can
use, Rush now turns into a suit of armor or a flying suit that MegaMan can use. That
proves to be much more useful than the plain Rush utilities. This game turned out to be
better than MegaMan 5 in that it added new features and better weapons. MegaMan sure did
leave the NES with a bang, and this proves it. I highly recommend this game.

Review: This one brought back the series! If this game wasn't made, the series would have
died. It has been a while since MegaMan wised up and took Wily to jail. The world was at
peace, the flowers were blooming, the children were swinging on the swingset and Billl
Cosby had a new sitcom. Until, burried under Wily's skull castle, eight robots were
activated by a timed device. If Wily did not return to the lab, the robots would activate
and seek him out. Four robots were activated and set out to look for their master. This
was a great game! I'm surprised that there was little advertising for it. Capcom,
advertise your products and maybe people will know about them! I didn't know this one
existed until I saw MegaMan 8 on a store self. Then I thought,"Uh oh...I missed
something!" Finnally I bought it though a used game dealer, and I wasn't sorry. This
was a great game with spectacular graphics. It retains some of it's original gameplay and
keeps the weapon charge feature, the slidding feature, and even has three new character,
Auto, Bass and Treble. Auto gives you parts for bolts you find while fighting. Bass
appears as Wily fighter, but you soon find, that his intentions may not be what you
thought. Treble is Bass's dog...or cat...or something. Very cool. The game even has a
progressive story line. Very spiffy!

Review: Positively the best MegaMan game ever made about the original series! They went
all out on this one! Dr. Wily has done it again! More robots! This time the story line is
much thicker. A battle out in space causes an explosion that sends two robots hurtling
toward the Earth. MegaMan is in the area fighting Bass when he gets a call from Dr. Light
to check out two meteors that have crashed. When MegaMan gets there, he finds Dr. Wily
making off with a piece of the meteor(that turned out to be a power source pod). Wily
leaves off laughing and MegaMan finds a Robot in the place of a meteor. He sends word to
Dr. Light and he tells MegaMan to go after Wily. Man, this is THE game! Japanese anime
cutscenes, real speach(even though it is kinda strange, you get used to it), and hand
drawn graphics. The best game in the original MegaMan series! A very good reason to get a
Playstation. Introduces a new character, Duo. Duo is the good robot from space that is out
to recapture the evil energy that Dr. Wily stole from the crashed robot.
